Legal Counsel and Guardian Ad Litem Services

The vendor required to provide legal counsel or guardian ad litem (GAL) services or both for the family court of the second circuit during the period July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.
- Guardian ad litem and legal counsel:
•    Three thousand one hundred fifty and 00/100 dollars ($3,150.00) per case for the initial twelve (12) months of service from the date of appointment.
•    Seven hundred fifty and 00/100 dollars ($750.00) per case per quarter for the first year carry over (months 13-24) from the date of appointment with compensation not to exceed three thousand and 00/100 dollars ($3,000.00) per case annually. 
•    Five hundred ten and 00/100 dollars ($510.00) per case per quarter for the second year carry over (months 25-36) from the date of appointment with compensation not to exceed two thousand forty and 00/100 dollars ($2,040.00) per case annually.
•    Seven hundred and 00/100 dollars ($700.00) one-time payment per case exceeding 36 months from date of appointment.
- Young adult voluntary foster care program legal counsel
•    Compensation shall be in accordance to section 571-87, state revised statutes.
- Travel reimbursement
•    Regular carryover cases: reimbursable travel cost and expenses per quarter for GAL and legal counsel services for each lanai case shall include three (3) roundtrip air or boat fare, three (3) day rent-a-car expense, and two (2) night lodging expense.
