The Vendor is required to provide modular classroom installations consultant service.
- building code and zoning bylaw review
- Site placement, site setbacks, site coverage, trees and other existing structures on the site.
- School capacity, means of egress, limiting distance, and max travel distance to exits, exit capacities, exit doors swings.
- Required number of washrooms.
- Staff parking, drop-off stalls and barrier-free parking requirements.
- Provide complete engineering professional services for design, construction and site placement: architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and civil working drawings.
- All work is to be done in accordance with local codes, bylaws, regulations and good engineering practice.
- Construction documents preparation c/w plans investigations and site visits for determinations during the design process; coordinate site visits with the project manager.
- Fire hydrant location and distance to new modular classrooms; if a fire hydrant is required, show it on the drawings.
- Check existing sprinkler system capacity and advise if it can support new modular addition.
- Check if new modular units power can be connected to existing modular units / school and advise if ne ele; distribution panel shall be installed.
- Check existing gas line and calculate if it can support new modular addition.
- Review agency supplied school record drawings (main building).
- Review as built drawings for modular classrooms previously installed.
- Allowance for the site survey.
- Provide full set of issued for review (IFR) drawings (60% finished) to agency for the review.
- Revise all drawings as per agency comments.
- Provide a complete set of issued for tender (IFT) drawings.
- Provide the tender specifications for the review.
- Revise the specifications as per agency comments.
- Combine IFT drawings and specifications and provide the tender package.
- Make revisions to the specifications and drawings if required during the tender.
- Provide a complete set of issued for construction (IFC) drawings and specs.
- Civil completion report.
- Lot grading plan.
- Provide as built drawings.
