The Vendor is required to provide professional recruitment services for key town positions as the need arises.
- A firm with expertise in accounting recruitment may be selected alongside a firm specializing in planning positions.
- Services shall include but not limited to:
• Developing a recruitment plan and timeline
• Conducting individual interviews with key stakeholders
• Creating a comprehensive position profile for each position based upon information obtained in meetings
• Developing and implementing a marketing strategy that identifies the best candidates through selected advertising, use of internet and direct solicitation of known desirable candidates.
• Implementing a screening process that narrows the field of candidates to those that most closely match the needs of the Town
• Delivering a product in the form of a search report that recommends the top group of candidates and provides detailed information about their backgrounds and experience.
• Thoroughly vetting the top candidates that meet the stated criteria through the use of:
o Personal interviews.
o Background checks – including criminal, driver’s license, credit and other related checks.
o Professional Reference Checks
o Comprehensive media searches
o Other means deemed appropriate by the selected firm.
• Assisting, if requested, in negotiating a total compensation package with the desired candidate.
