The vendor is required to provide affordable care act (aca) was signed into law include to - employer mandate requires that large employers with 50 employees or more offer health coverage to full-time employees (i.e., those working an average of 30 hours or more per week) and provide them with a form 1095-c to be used when filing their personal tax returns.
- Provide files that include all required data that contractor will need to code, format and merge into form 1095-c, which shall include analysis of employee records for any hire and termination dates if one or both have occurred during the tax reporting year.
- The data files may be sent to the contractor in tranches over an annual reporting cycle, and the contractor shall confirm receipt of each data file for agency record.
- Provided data, including, without limitation, use of stable storage media, regular data back-ups and archiving, password protection of volumes, and data encryption.
- Hold agency and its users' protected or private information, and any information derived from such information, in strictest confidence.
- Control the data as it relates to encryption and shall prepare for agency review and approval a description of any third-party cloud service and/or hosting providers in the delivering of the services before commencing the work.
- Segment agency data from other customer data held by contractor, and must not comingle agency data with any other customer.
- All data transfer from the hosted site to agency or third party shall occur via agency secure transport.
- Work with agency data groups (human resource information system and cis) and define delivery protocols for data feeds;
- Ensure data feeds are being securely transmitted;
- Perform reasonable quality assurance on file feeds to ensure all data being received by contractor meets agreed upon parameters.
