The vendor is required to provide for protecting the rights of employees and employers by ensuring the proper delivery of benefits and by promoting compliance with the law, including the provisions relating to workers’ compensation benefits (WC), disability benefits (DB), volunteer firefighters’ benefits, and volunteer ambulance workers’ benefits.
- The nature of the services requested will be on an as-needed basis.
- These services may include, but may not be limited to:
1. Workers’ compensation financial and advisory services (lot #1):
• review or audit of any financial statement or compilation report of any fund, part of a fund, or program that the board manages or oversees.
• The services may also include financial advisement or cost benefit analysis for any new regulation, initiative, program or risk transfer transactions.
2. Workers’ compensation actuarial services (lot #2):
• Actuarial review or actuarial consultation for any self-insurer, fund or group of claims.
this may include but not be limited to a certified actuarial report, actuarial review of submitted self-insured documents, or consultation on any actuarial issue.
• In addition, specific actuarial consultations may be required to assist in evaluating risk transfer transactions.
