The vendor is required to provide to assess and modify its job architecture system to help the agency become more efficient and competitive, and recruit and retain the right candidates.
- The consultant (herein referred to as contractor) is expected to assess the current system, present and provide a written report on recommended changes and deliver a detailed plan for implementation.
• The contractor will meet with human resources and executive cabinet virtually or in person to gather information needed to assess the current and recommend modifications to the job architecture system.
• Meeting with union representatives may also be warranted to gather information as necessary, with the approval and presence of human resources.
• The primary contact for this work will be the authority director of human resources.
• The job architecture system to assess includes:
o Job functions and families
o Career tracks
o Job leveling criteria
o Job titling standards
o Pay structures (including performance pay)
o Job architecture governance and communications
• The awarded contractor will deliver a draft report and presentation to the executive cabinet for review and comment.
• The contractor will then assist in the implementation of any approved changes which are expected to begin within 30 days after the final report and will vary based on authority needs.
