The Vendor is required to provide risk management services include:
1. Contract insurance provisions review
• Review and provide guidance on insurance provisions, including required coverages and appropriate policy limits, for the following:
○ Purchase orders (POS)
○ Requests for proposals (RFPS)
○ Invitations for bids (IFBS)
○ Informally procured contracts
• Contracts typically involve services in civil engineering design, environmental clearance, right-of-way acquisition, financial consulting, goods procurement, and large-scale transportation construction.
2. Certificate of insurance compliance
• Review insurance certificates for compliance with agency contractual and risk management requirements. Initial intake and basic review will be conducted by agency office assistant and procurement analyst.
• Provide secondary review and risk advisory on exceptions or deficiencies noted.
3. Insurance exceptions & negotiations
• Review and provide feedback on proposed insurance exceptions during contract negotiations.
• Recommend risk-appropriate modifications or acceptance criteria based on industry standards and agency risk tolerance.
4. Sensitive security information (SSI) review
• Conduct reviews of documents containing sensitive security information (SSI) to ensure proper handling, redaction, and distribution in compliance with applicable security guidelines.
