The Vendor is required to provide lobbying services related to the school state legislative agenda as well as administrative and regulatory issues in state agencies and departments.
• Provide lobbying services related to any and all legislation pertinent to school.
• Develop and execute a strategy to disentangle from the city by 2027
• Represent school and its position and shall have no conflicts of interest with other entities it represents
• Review, develop, and/or monitor relevant policies and conduct political analysis requested by school.
• Travel to town.
• Regular communication with the CEO’S designee on intergovernmental affairs to discuss potential risks or benefits of proposed actions by members of the general assembly
• Attend legislative committee hearings in city.
• Services will result in the creation of favorable bills to the district as well as lobbying against legislation hindering the district's legislative agenda.
• Consultant(s) will engage in weekly meetings during the legislative session.
• Consultant(s) will also be assigned specific pieces of legislation to favor or oppose.
• Consultant(s) will maintain lines of communication with leadership in the state legislature and schedule meetings on behalf of the district at the request of district officials.
• Consultant(s) will maintain critical relationships with the state legislature.
• Consultant(s) will provide recommendations around advocacy and lobbying efforts.
