The Vendor is required to provide staff has completed a preliminary draft of a new zoning ordinance for the city.
- This element should include the techniques that would be used to gain this input, including options online and in person.
- City staff welcomes dialogue on such instances and guidance regarding same.
- The public input process should include input from the general public, business community, the planning commission, and the city council.
- The consultant will be responsible for performing final editing on the zoning ordinance following their review of the draft ordinance and the public input process.
- Full editing would include but is not limited to the zoning map in a GIS format, review and changes from public input, and review and changes after legal review.
- The city will conduct the legal review through its city attorney.
- Responsible for taking the final draft of the ordinance through the approval process which includes the planning commission and the city council.
