- A comprehensive review and revision of the existing code to align with the town’s comprehensive plan and promote various development goals, ensuring alignment with the state, and allowing for innovative growth and development in 2025 and beyond.
- The process will involve limited public engagement and collaboration with town staff, planning commission, and council.
• Review and analyze the existing zoning ordinance.
• Assess the town’s comprehensive plan, the code of state, and related documents to ensure consistency.
• Conduct limited public outreach and engagement to gather input from stakeholders.
• Draft revisions to the zoning ordinance, allowing for a commonsense approach and a user-friendly layout and design.
• Work with town staff to incorporate feedback and finalize the updated ordinance.
