The Vendor is required to provide committee include, but are not limited to, annual and interim accounting and funding valuations, actuarial analysis or advice as requested by the advisory committee and general pension consulting services.
- Services include:
- Preparing the triennial funding valuations for both the Registered and Unregistered Plans;
• Preparing any interim valuations, as requested;
• Preparing an annual extrapolation;
• Presenting valuation and extrapolation results to the advisory committee;
• Providing liability cash flows for the Plans as requested; and
• Any other general pension consulting services, as requested.
- The financial services department of agency coordinates the collection of information for the financial statements.
- Accounting valuation information is extrapolated from the most recent funding valuation to satisfy financial reporting requirements.
- Pre-existing work and/or commercial software will be permitted in the proponent’s approach to the project, to satisfy any component of the system/solution.
- Services will be performed mainly at the proponent’s facility, with some services being performed at agency facility e.g. during attendance at in-person advisory committee meetings.
- The advisory committee also meets with the actuary and staff from the office of the auditor general at the audit exit meeting to review the results of the audit.
