The vendor is required to provide comprehensive consulting services to support college in the successful development and implementation of the bachelor of applied science in management (BASM) CBE program and the broader competency-based education (CBE) infrastructure.
1. CBE infrastructure development:
• Assess existing college IT infrastructure and recommend necessary upgrades, integrations, and new systems to support CBE.
• Provide expertise on best practices for CBE registration, enrollment, and financial aid processes, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
• advise on optimal learning management system (LMS) configuration and utilization for CBE, including Progress tracking, competency assessment, and reporting functionalities.
• Consult on workday implications for CBE, including student records, faculty load, and financial reporting.
• Develop recommendations for a scalable and sustainable CBE operational model.
2. Program design and development support:
• Provide guidance on aligning curriculum and learning outcomes with competency frameworks.
• Advise on effective assessment strategies for competency demonstration.
• Support the development of faculty and staff roles and responsibilities within a CBE model.
3. Training and professional development:
• Develop and deliver training programs for faculty, staff, and administrators on CBE pedagogy, assessment, and administrative processes.
• Provide ongoing support and mentorship to ensure successful adoption of CBE principles
4. Marketing and advising support:
• Consult effective marketing and recruitment strategies for CBE programs, targeting appropriate student populations.
• Advise on the development of a robust CBE advising model that supports student success and progression through competencies.
5. Change management and stakeholder engagement:
• Assist college in developing a comprehensive change management plan for the transition to CBE.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication across various departments and leadership levels.
6. Risk assessment and mitigation:
• Identify potential risks and challenges associated with CBE implementation and propose mitigation strategies.
