Temporary Port Consultant Services

The Vendor is required to provide to determine market interest in delivering temporary port consultants to provide comprehensive business development and marketing services for the city’s cruise ship program for a transitional period.
- Provide the following services:
• Meet with city stakeholders to determine business objectives and future strategies for increasing cruise ship activity.
• Analyze city current strategies for increasing cruise ship activity, including a strategic focus on both port-of-call and homeport operations.
• Develop marketing and advertising approaches to increase awareness within the cruise industry.
• Schedule industry meetings with cruise line decision makers and serve alongside city representatives or as city’s liaison at meetings.
• Represent the city at major industry conferences, tradeshows, and events, to include seatrade cruise convention, association events, and association of port authorities meetings.
• Serve as an amplifying voice within the cruise industry to help build awareness of city’s program and operation.
• Assist with transitioning the services to in-house staff.
