- Project management and coordination
• Appoint project lead to interface with agency and department project managers
- Creating a project schedule and detailed work plan
• Create a plan and lead the project and ensure the schedule is maintained.
• Report progress on a monthly basis to the planning committee.

- Good record keeping and clear communication are essential
- We expect the proponent to guide the process and keep the project on schedule.
- Current and future needs for courts (civil, criminal and family), shifting typologies of court spaces.
- Projected trends in custody capacity requirements, client profiles, and needs.
- Changes in sentencing trends and other legal reforms and trends that affect courtroom usage and court services demands. For example, the increase in self-represented litigants in civil and family matters. - Alternative approaches to justice administration - including specialized courts that require different facility design
- Overrepresentation of vulnerable and marginalized people in the criminal justice system and in correctional services
- Self-representation, unbundling of legal services, and increased use of duty counsel, particularly in civil and family law matters.
- Different types of correctional supervision models
- Staffing retention, including psychological and physical safety considerations.
- Use of technologies (virtual court, e-filing, programming, visitation, medical, document management)
- Community justice center models that bridge community services and court settings together
- Victim supports and security- including methods to increase trauma informed participation in court proceedings
- Accessibility considerations
- Mental health and addictions needs in the correctional environment and in the court system.
- Reintegration of offenders
- Program needs and delivery.
- Able to collect, code, and theme feedback in a well-organized and meaningful manner using qualitative data collection methods.
