Block Grant Consulting Foresters Services

The vendor is required to provide private consulting forestry firms to verify these estimates.  
• Review initial assessment provided by department and compare with current imagery (provided by department).   
• Confirm timber types, timber size, and damage classes and acreages.
• If confidence level is high, confirm, or provide updates to maps and initial assessment and submit to department.
• If further verification is warranted, visit site to check and inform estimate.  
• This may include confirmation of timber type, timber size, site productivity and damage classes.
• Update data and map.  
• No timber measurement or plot measurement is required.  
• Drones can be used if landowner approves.
•  Output to department will be an updated spreadsheet and map for each property.
