The vendor is required to provide consulting services to assist the city in defining functional, technical, operational, and data requirements for this future system, considering industry best practices and alignment with the city’s corporate asset management plan.
• Facilitated workshops and interviews across multiple city service areas to gather comprehensive business requirements, data needs, and integration points for the corporate asset registry. 
• Reviewed existing data repositories, tools, and asset management processes to assess current capabilities and identify gaps. 
• Conducted a municipal scan to benchmark current systems and practices, identifying limitations of the current state and defining requirements for the desired future state. 
• Developed detailed functional, technical, and operational requirements to inform the design of the corporate asset registry. 
• Identified opportunities for process improvement and recommended industry best practices aligned with municipal asset management. 
• Provided a high-level framework addressing system integration, data standards, and governance requirements.
