The vendor is required to provide consulting miscellaneous policy development and in-person community engagement services on an “as and when requested” basis for small projects within state.
• Conducting thorough research and analysis of relevant planning and land use policies, case studies and market surveys as needed, and sharing their subject matter expertise on development trends affecting maple ridge.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of existing policies, proposing necessary improvements and alternatives as needed in maple ridge.
• Collaborating with city staff and interest holders to align policy recommendations with the city’s strategic goals.
• Drafting clear and implementable recommendations, policies, or regulatory provisions ensuring their alignment with municipal, provincial and federal guidelines and regulations.
• Planning, organizing and facilitating in-person community engagement events (e.g., focus groups and workshops).
• Developing agendas, invite lists and necessary materials to maxi mise community participation and ensure diverse inputs and feedback for policy formulation.
• Preparing comprehensive reports on community feedback and engagement outcomes, and graphic materials to convey policy objectives and engagement results.
• Adhering to project timelines with status reports and updates to the city at agreed intervals.
• Adhering to ethical guidelines and compliance requirements by the city and other relevant interest holders.
• Maintaining participant confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive project related information.
• Being open and adaptive to changing project scopes and requirements as determined by the needs of the city.
