The Vendor is required to provide to design and implement data collection tools to monitor student outcomes and instructional impact, analyze and prepare collected data for reporting to the dean and associate dean, support grant proposals, and formalize and sustain partnerships with partner districts.
- Acquire, manage, and organize literacy materials, technology, and instructional tools to ensure the reading center maintains a welcoming, organized, and functional learning environment for students, staff, and families.
- Programmatic Responsibilities
• Lead the launch and coordination of literacy programs with district partners
• Oversee the implementation of reading assessments and provide instructional support for students at partner schools
• Coordinate logistics for both virtual and in-person literacy-related sessions
• Collaborate with agency initiatives (e.g., cardinal nest, book vending machines) to align literacy programming
• Support partners in the development and implementation of cross-disciplinary literacy components that embed literacy across the curriculum
• Organize and facilitate literacy-focused field trips, reading adventures, and community events
• Design and execute summer literacy programming, including reading and writing camps and potential weekend boot camps
• Plan and deliver parent literacy workshops and teacher professional development sessions
• Support part-time reading specialist
• Develop orientation and training materials for student participants and faculty
• Identify literacy professionals who can support the literacy initiative
• Partner with ISDS to provide the best options for students to receive supplemental instruction
• Direct the day-to-day operations of the center

• Support grant proposals and contribute to strategic planning documents
• Ensure both quantitative and qualitative data collection
• Ensure any necessary permissions are obtained within the responsibilities related to this scope of work (student field trip permissions, photo release, etc.)
- Partnership and Outreach
• Formalize and sustain partnerships with partner districts
• Coordinate district-level placements and logistics for school-based literacy programs
• Develop and distribute promotional and outreach materials to communicate the reading center’s mission
• Gather and analyze stakeholder feedback to improve community engagement and impact
