Disaster Recovery Consulting Services

The vendor is required to provide disaster recovery consulting strategy that addresses risks, policy, procedure, and technology needs.
- Assessment and validation
•    Provide classifications for the town of applications used for business functions delivery based on four levels.
•    For all applications used for business functions/service delivery identified as critical perform the following:
o    Develop and define the recovery time objective (RTO)
o    Develop and define the recovery point objective (RPO)
o    Develop and define service level agreement (SLA) 2.0 disaster recovery strategy
- Disaster recovery requirements
•    Develop recommendations to address gaps identified in the assessment to meet corporately agreed upon disaster recovery plan (DRP).
•    Develop recommendations for technology disaster recovery software and hardware infrastructure requirements. 
•    Develop recommendations for disaster recovery functional and non-functional elements to address recovery components such as data, applications, networks, etc. 
•    Develop recommendations and document backup and disaster recovery data synchronize processes.
- Disaster recovery and backup policies, standards & procedures
•    Develop an overarching disaster recovery policy for the town.
•    Develop disaster recovery technology standards and procedures for all application classifications. 
•    Develop disaster recovery operational standards and operations procedures for all applications classified as critical.
- Disaster recovery workflows and gap analysis
•    Create business and system disaster recovery workflows.
•    Document operational gaps while testing disaster recovery workflows. 
•    Create a disaster incident response plan that identifies the town for service restoration in the event of a disaster (i.e., hierarchy of service recovery). 
•    Create a communication plan and role assignments for IT emergency management (including key internal and external contacts, and identification of any vendors that should be contacted for disaster recovery scenarios).
