The Vendor is required to provide and maintain a specialized telecommunications assistance program (STAP) is a Vendor portal to register and pay STAP Vendors for voucher reimbursement.
- Provide the reports to Deaf and Hard Hearing Services (DHHS) and respond to inquiries regarding vendor registration, reimbursements, rejections, or complaints.
- Monitor STAP Vendors and review and confirm their operating hours and contact information for all participating locations;
- Inquire whether STAP vendor locations require STAP Program signage or promotional materials.
- The survey results, the number of vouchers exchanged, and the length of time since the last voucher exchange per STAP Vendor.
- Troubleshoot issues in the field such as voucher errors, equipment returns, client complaints, etc.
- Intake and address complaints regarding STAP Vendors from clients, their representatives and/or certifiers.
- Provide registered STAP vendors and DHHS access to search if a voucher has been placed in a “stop payment” or has been reimbursed.
