Professional Land Surveying Services

The vendor required to provide professional land boundary, topographic, and construction surveys on an as-needed basis.
- Project planning and coordination
•    Participate in project kickoff meetings and coordinate with office staff upon issuance of each work order. 
•    Review available deeds, maps, and previous surveys to determine existing site conditions and identify potential survey challenges.
•    Develop and submit detailed work plans outlining proposed methods, timelines, and deliverables for each assigned task. 
•    Coordinate with city agencies and abutting property owners to obtain access permissions where required. 
•    Secure all necessary permits and dig-safe clearances prior to starting fieldwork. 
•    Provide the dig-safe number and copies of permits to office before commencing site work.
- Surveying and data collection
•    Perform surveying services as required, which may include:
o    Boundary surveys
o    Topographic and existing conditions surveys
o    Construction layout and staking
o    Subdivision plans
o    Easement and right-of-way surveys
o    Floodplain and elevation certificates
o    GPS and GIS data collection and mapping support
•    Conduct all work in compliance with state laws, municipal requirements, and office standards. 
•    Identify and measure encroachments or boundary discrepancies, documenting their nature, extent, and impact. 
•    Maintain site safety and security throughout all field operations, ensuring parcels are re-secured at the end of each workday.
- Communication and performance monitoring
•    Maintain regular communication with office regarding project status, progress, and emerging issues.
•    Notify office immediately of any field conditions that may affect survey accuracy or safety. 
•    Submit monthly status reports summarizing:
o    Activities completed and upcoming tasks 
o    Budget and schedule status 
o    Issues encountered and resolutions proposed 
o    Estimated hours and costs for the following month.
