The Vendor is required to provide of a full-scale emergency exercise, on behalf of the partners of the agency.
- This activity, when paired with a sparsely populated large geographic region, creates many hazards which could trigger large-scale emergency responses and presents significant challenges to developing key emergency management resources.
- In addition to the geographic challenges of the region, demographic characteristics also create significant issues for developing and delivering emergency management services.
- A lack of redundancy within local municipal governments means that staffing longer, more complex emergencies would be a significant challenge even with the regional emergency management model in place.
- Facilitate communication between industry partners/utility providers.
- Practice an evacuation plan in a full-scale simulation exercise.
- Design, prepare, organize and lead exercise design meetings that will result in the planning and development of the full-scale exercise.
- Complete a post exercise report summarizing the objectives and purpose of the exercise, as well as the findings (based on participant feedback, observation and evaluation), lessons learned, and recommendations for improvement.
- Contract Period/Term: 1 year
