The vendor is required to provide that bus shelter advertising services for county public transit (DCPT).
- Bus Shelters:
- The transit system currently has sixty-one (61) bus shelters available for advertising.
• Of these, fifty (50) are old-style shelters of various sizes, which are designated exclusively for county advertising.
• Eleven (11) are new-style shelters, manufactured by brasco, equipped with advertising boxes, allowing for both county and commercial advertising.
• By august 2025, eight (8) additional new-style shelters with advertising boxes, manufactured by brasco and designed for both county and commercial advertising, are scheduled for installation.
• All new-style bus shelters, the interior of the advertising box is reserved exclusively for county advertising, while the exterior is designated for commercial advertising.
• Advertising placement outside the designated advertising box is not permitted in new-style shelters.
• To maintain consistency and simplicity, county advertising in all old-style shelters will use the dimensions of the smallest bus shelter

- The contractor is responsible for the entire program, including securing all contracts, managing advertising sales, advertising materials production, placing advertisements on the shelters, removing advertisements from bus shelters, and coordinating with county staff.
- For old-style bus shelters without advertising boxes, the advertising will utilize only approved direct application, non-permanent “see-through” vinyl material.
- The manufacture, installation, and removal of advertisements per current industry standards and in such a way as to preserve the original appearance and condition of the bus shelter surface.
- The ad must always present a sharp, clear, high-quality appearance, regardless of the advertisement campaign duration.
- The contractor’s advertising must not interfere with cleaning processes.
- The contractor warrants that all products and processes utilized in the production, installation, maintenance, repair, and removal of all advertisements during the contract term will not damage the display areas.
- All installation, maintenance, and restoration work must be coordinated and approved through county operations supervisory staff
- The contractor will keep complete, accurate, and up-to-date records of all advertising business conducted under the contract.
- The contractor will submit photos of the bus shelter to county operations supervisory staff upon installing or removing an advertisement.
