The Vendor is required to provide web-based media research, distribution and monitoring services available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with full training as needed and ongoing support, for at least six simultaneous users.
1. Media research and list building
• Access to a robust, regularly updated and customizable database of journalists and media outlets to support effective targeting of city pitches and press releases to relevant local, regional, national, trade and general media across the united states, as well as globally, searchable by a number of parameters (location, subject matter, outlet type, etc.)
• Ability to import custom media outlet and journalist contact lists
2. Media distribution
• Ability to easily create and distribute attractive, effective press releases and pitches to media comprised of text, images, links and multimedia
• Ability to track open and engagement rates from those distributions
3. Media monitoring and reporting
• To track, report and measure all relevant mentions of city and its programs and brands in traditional and digital media, including major media outlets as well as influential blogs, podcasts and newer platforms on demand and through scheduled reports or coverage summaries
• Ability to easily and quickly create, customize and export media coverage reports with the following elements, at a minimum: total mentions, publicity value, geographic region, news outlets and share of voice
• Ability to share media coverage clips (traditional media) and links (online media) with team members and center leadership
• Meaningful, timely measurement and insights on the impact, value and share of voice from our media engagement efforts
4. Account support and training
• Training and simultaneous access to platform for a minimum of six users
• Timely access to customer service support to troubleshoot issues and answer questions about platform
5. Other services
• 24/7 direct access to customer service support and response to troubleshoot and address issues
• Notice of any changes, updates, or modifications to bidder’s services, platform, or user interface including services that will be provided by a third party at least 30 days in advance
• The proposed solution must support single sign-on (SSO) using industry-standard protocols.
