- Serve as the university’s partner for planning, executing, and evaluating earned media strategies.
- Develop story ideas, media materials, and pitches targeted to national outlets and key industry publications.
- Coordinate outreach and secure coverage that aligns with the university’s strategic priorities, the president’s office, and the division.
- Focus on local or regional media development; this is the responsibility of university communications.
- Advise on messaging, positioning, and key talking points to support national recognition.
- Provide monthly progress updates and a final report summarizing placements, impressions, and outcomes.
