The Vendor is required to provide library non-print media products providers to meet the needs of their over 1,000 state academic, school, public, and special library members and their users.
- Provide for a wide variety of physical, tangible audio and/or video materials, including video games that could be purchased by libraries for the purpose of lending to library users.
- These materials use sound and/or visual elements to entertain, educate, or convey information.
- Any format that may conceivably be labeled, cataloged, packaged, and secured by a library for loan to library users is acceptable, including discs, cartridges, pre-loaded devices, and multimedia players with associated content.
- Print books are acceptable if they feature an audio and/or video component.
- Content that is entirely digital/online without a physical component:
• Video recordings on DVD
• Video recordings on Blu-ray
• Video Recordings on 4K Ultra HD
• Video recordings on pre-loaded devices or cartridges
• Audiobooks on CD
• Audiobooks on pre-loaded devices or cartridges
• Music or sound recordings on CD
• Music or sound recordings on vinyl
• Music or sound recordings on pre-loaded devices or cartridges
• Videogame cartridges or discs
• Learning tablets
• Print books with attached video or audio components
• Print books with unattached video or audio components (kits)
• Pre-loaded tablets, devices or cartridges with a combination of audio, visual and/or game components
• Proprietary gaming consoles, multimedia players, devices, headsets, etc.
• Cases and accessories
• Additional relevant category
• Entire catalog.
