The vendor is required to provide concert production services for a variety of dates and events.
- Personnel description and duties:
• Concert producer – responsible for obtaining talent, arranging proper production equipment, establishing a venue advance list and working directly with the artists, their tour managers and county special event management to coordinate and execute concerts for stars and stripes July 3, the county fair July 29-august 2nd, and other events as created within established budgets.
- Producer responsibilities and requirements:
• Producer is responsible for submitting offers and negotiating on behalf of county fair for management approved talent.
• Producer is responsible for contracting with all necessary personnel to produce the event.
• All terms and conditions will be directly connected to the producer and not the county fair or county government.
• All artists’ contracts to have a deadline for execution of no later than May 1.
• Producer is responsible for attending monthly meetings with parks management.
• Producer is responsible for obtaining cost efficient production equipment to include but not limited to; staging, audio, lighting, power, and backline for both the main stage and the entertainment stage located in the midway.
• Producer is responsible for advancing with all main stage talent and Sunday’s free stage talent and creating a day of show schedule for parks management, as well as, any finalized hospitality riders, no later than 10 days prior to show.
• Producer is responsible for obtaining and coordinating all stage hands, equipment operators, and other necessary production staff.
• Producer is responsible for a designated budget to be determined by parks management and to include the producer’s fees, artist’s fees, production costs and all other necessary expenses in direct relation to concert execution.
• This amount will not include any hospitality rider fulfillment, lodging or transportation expenses for the artists.
• The producer is responsible for getting approval from parks management prior to entering into any contract for the fair or any other events.

• Upcoming newer smaller artist
2. Wednesday, July 29th, 2026
• entertainment stage – live bands or DJ and karaoke from 4p – 11p
• Main stage – free concert – 8p
o Upcoming or newer artists with regional opening act
o Typical budget of $20,000 - $25,000 for opener and headliner fees
3. Thursday, July 30th, 2026
• Entertainment stage – live bands or DJ from 4p – 12a
• Main stage – demolition derby at 7p
o Demo derby to use sound from main stage
o Stage will be utilized for VIP seating
4. Friday, July 31st, 2026
• Entertainment stage – live bands or DJ from 3p-12a
• Main stage – demolition derby at 7p
o Demo derby to use sound from main stage
o Stage will be utilized for VIP seating
5. Saturday, august 4, 2018
• Entertainment stage – live bands, community dance groups or DJ from 12p-12a
• Main stage – PBR at 5p concert at 8p
o C level or above artist
o Typical budget of $60,000-$75,000
6. Sunday, august 5, 2018
• Entertainment stage – catholic mass at 10a, larger tex-mex bands from 1p-8p
• Main stage – charreada and headlining concert – production and advance needed from producer; all booking handled through Entravision and contracting handled through fair management and county.
