The vendor is required to provide general community planning services as specified on an “as-required” basis.
• Developing a comprehensive understanding of existing student travel patterns to and from school.
• Planning and coordinating a one-day summit to convene the statewide safe routes to school (SRTS) network, including school staff at counties and the state of department of stakeholders, new potential partners, parent organizations, etc.
• Developing the statewide school strategic plan, and recommendations for stabilizing school program funding for the school program and enabling communities for applying to funding.
• Establishing and implementing an ongoing process for evaluating the school program, statewide school strategic plan implementation, and projects for 3 years after completion of the statewide school strategic plan.
• Attend meeting of the school advisory committee to provide project updates when requested by the school advisory committee chairperson.
