The Vendor is required to provide to supply any legal advertising needed by the County.
- General requirements:
• Printed and published within the state.
• Shall be a newspaper of general paid circulation possessing an average news content of not less than 35%.
• Shall have been published continuously in the municipality where its publication office is situated for not less than two years.
• Shall have been entered for two (2) years as a second-class mail matter under the postal laws and regulations of the country.
• Must have circulation capabilities to a majority of the population of the county.
• Copy (ies) of ad(s) must accompany each invoice.
• Affidavit of publication must be included with each legal ad invoice.
• Provider must have the capability of transmitting all ad proofs in a pdf or other electronic format agreeable to the county via electronic mail.
- Before charging the rates above, the publisher or business manager of the newspaper must file an affidavit with the authorized officer of the municipality, county, or governing body placing the advertisement.
- The affidavit must include the average net paid circulation of the newspaper for the 12-month period ending September 30 preceding the advertisement and the rate to be charged.
- Line calculations shall be based on the space that a 6-point line, 8-picas wide, occupies.
