The Vendor is required to provide comprehensive marketing, creative design, advertising, and public relations services for the town restaurant week.
- Expected to create and implement a marketing strategy that leverages the past results.
- This includes:
• 45 participating restaurants with unique menus.
• Over 14,000 website visits, mostly from ads
• On social: 45,000 reach, 160,000 views, 1,800 interactions, 1,300 page visits.
• 6 social media influencers
• Paid media campaigns on local and regional news.
• Participants seeing an average of 20% increase in sales, ranging from 0-50%.
- Budget should be inclusive of agency fee, paid media, promotional and print materials, and any other items required or recommended to complete
- Create an overall plan 12 weeks prior to the start of restaurant week. This should include: regular meeting schedule with town staff, restaurant outreach cadence, website and menu update plan, traditional media, social media, paid media, social media influencer campaign, launch event, print materials, and after-program report. Plan should be delivered in a document format and be accessible/editable at all project phases by town staff. SharePoint or google drive.
- Begin restaurant outreach at least 10 weeks prior to program. Final push to participate and send menus, including in-person visits, should begin 1 month before the start of restaurant week.
- Coordinate participant sign-ups at all phases of town restaurant week, including early bird sign-ups and last-minute additions.
- Social media should include graphics, videos, photos, and media clips. All earned media spots should appear twice on social media: at least one static photo post of a behind-the scenes moment plus a video with a link to the full video segment.
- Includes a paid social media strategy including Meta ads and influencers.
- Posting should begin 4 weeks prior to the start date, daily posting should begin 10 days prior to start date and continue through the final program date.
- create a specific social media plan 10 weeks prior to the start of restaurant week and implement all Social media materials for the project in accordance to the plan.
- Produce print materials for the community and restaurants, participation signs for restaurant windows, swag for the launch event, and a banner design based on town provided specs. Assist with coordination and drop-off of signs and swag at all participating restaurants.
- Attend all earned media segments, including TV spots.
- Provide EDD staff with talking points and an anticipated run-of-show prior to segment. Provide on-site support during segment.
- Coordinate post-segment outreach to producers and provide link to web story/full video when published.
- Produce close-out report in power point format within 4 weeks of the conclusion of restaurant week highlighting results of the program. Town staff will conduct a survey of restaurant participants that should also be included.
