The vendor is required to provide strategic brand positioning and market research for travel and heritage to conduct research, analysis, and provide strategic recommendations aimed at strengthening agency brand positioning within the travel and heritage tourism sectors.
•    Identify and analyze industry trends: gain a comprehensive understanding of current and emerging travel and heritage tourism trends—both nationally and within state—to inform strategic decision making and align agency efforts with evolving market dynamics.
•    Evaluate agency market position: assess the historical commission’s current brand presence, strengths, and areas for improvement within the travel and heritage tourism marketplace to determine how the agency is currently perceived by consumer audiences.
•    Define strategic brand differentiators: identify key elements that distinguish agency from other organizations in the sector and develop strategies to leverage those differentiators to improve brand recognition and appeal among travelers.
•    Strengthen audience engagement: develop actionable recommendations to help agency expand and engage its consumer travel audiences, with a focus on driving visitation, awareness, and long-term interest in tourism.
•    Facilitate strategic alignment: engage agency stakeholders in a structured dialogue to align strategic priorities, validate research findings, and co-develop a roadmap for short- and long-term marketing and branding initiatives.
•    Support informed decision-making: provide agency with data-driven insights and expert guidance that can be used to shape future branding, marketing campaigns, and tourism development efforts.
