1. Media relations and outreach
• Share the expertise of foster faculty and leadership with local, regional, national, and global media.
• Secure interviews and placements across traditional outlets (print, tv, radio), as well as digital publications, podcasts, YouTube channels, newsletters, and influencer platforms.
• Build relationships with established journalists and emerging voices on new and fast-growing platforms where prospective students listen and watch.
• Thoughtfully match faculty experts with the right outlets, journalists, and platforms to ensure their voices are heard by the audiences that matter most.
• Identify opportunities for foster voices to contribute to timely business and economic conversations, ensuring the school is present in issues shaping our world.
• Identify meaningful awards and recognitions celebrating foster faculty and leadership, with marcom managing submissions.
2. Thought leadership and speaking opportunities
• Place op-eds, bylined articles, and contributed pieces that amplify the dean’s and faculty’s perspectives on the future of business and leadership.
• Open doors to speaking opportunities at conferences, forums, and community events that elevate foster’s visibility and inspire prospective students.
3. Faculty media training and support
• Provide a media training expert to lead two on-site training days for select faculty and leadership (each participant will complete one training day).
• Offer coaching and guidance that helps foster’s faculty brand champions step confidently into the public eye.
4. Monitoring and reporting
• Track foster coverage across media channels and maintain a record of placements and opportunities.
• Share monthly reports highlighting secured media, opportunities in progress, and recommendations for building momentum.
