The vendor required to provide parent support outreach program and family community partnership (PSOP/FCP) services for eligible youth and families.
- Parent support outreach program (PSOP)
• Assessment of needs: program workers conduct comprehensive assessments to identify family strengths and needs.
• Resource connection: assistance in accessing community resources such as food shelves, clothing programs, health clinics, mental health services, and parenting classes.
• Support for basic needs: assistance with housing, transportation, childcare, and other essential needs that promote child safety and well-being.
- Family community partnership (FCP)
• The family must reside in county.
• The child must not currently be receiving services from the county’s child protection, children's mental health, or developmental disabilities services.
• The family must have at least one child aged 17 or younger, or currently pregnant.
• The family is exposed to two or more child maltreatment risk factors, including but not limited to:
o Poverty
o Domestic violence
o Substance abuse
o Mental health concerns
o History of child protection involvement
o Homelessness
• The family has not used PSOP or FCP in the past year.
• The family has at least one child aged 10 or younger, or be pregnant (PSOP only).
• Families can refer themselves or be referred by community or social service agencies.
