The Vendor is required to provide to refresh the current brand identity of the City to include the development of a comprehensive branding stylebook while assuring compliance with digital accessibility. - Provide a professional design partner to develop an updated visual standard that capitalizes on the history while taking into consideration modern design needs and accessibility standards.
- The new brand-style guide should make it easy for any city employee or partner to access and understand brand implementation, so it remains consistent throughout the organization and everywhere it appears both internally and externally.
- Company will prepare a brand report showing conclusions drawn from the existing brand and work with the Sterling Committee to achieve consensus on next steps.
- Company will provide a complete style guide including at least the following:
• Typefaces and typography structure examples
• Logo configurations identifying primary and secondary logo options, department logo configurations, logo color guidelines
• Guidance for logo sizing and combinations
- Departments: PD and Fire badges and the Museum
- Initiatives: Website, social media, and newsletter
• Primary and secondary brand colors and color accessibility guide
• Graphic elements/patterns to compliment logos
• Letterhead and business cards
• Email signatures
• Postcards
• PowerPoint templates
• Signage specifications
• E-Newsletter header examples
• Print newsletter design templates and/or recommendations
• Apparel and vehicle examples
- Company will work with the Sterling Committee to develop a roll-out and an implementation plan for the new designs.
