The vendor required to provide production services (lighting, sound and power) to be provided for city events.
- Production service requirements
1. Technician
• Provide technicians to load-in and load-out equipment.
• Provide a minimum of one (1) on-site technician for the duration of the event.
2. Lighting
• Two (2) stage trusses consisting of at least 120 (60 per truss) one thousand (1000w) watt lights.
• If trusses are not available two (2) trees and one (1) rear truss will meet the requirements.
• Provide a minimum of two (2) lycian, ultra-arc, or equivalent spots, four (4) spots when possible.
• Provide a minimum of one (1) spot for venues of less than five hundred (500) people.
• Headset communication shall be provided between house light boards, sound board, monitor board, and spotlight.
• Six (6) specials minimum, twelve if available, should be provided.
• A class "a" lighting board with a minimum of thirty-six (36) channels shall be provided, including matrix.
• For venues of less than one thousand (1,000) people, fewer channels shall be acceptable.
• Provide a minimum of a four (4) color wash using 24 1k par 64 instruments plus four (4) 1k par 64 instruments floor mounted as drum specials. (166 acl' s and fog requested but not required)
• A lighting electrical technician shall be provided for set-up
3. Sound system
• Provide a first-class house system capable of reproducing undistorted, evenly distributed sound for even coverage up to 7500 attendees.
• Recommended frequency response to be no less than 11 0db-spl with frequency response from 50hz to 16 khz + or - 3db throughout seating area.
• House system should be equipped with l/3 octave equalization for all sends and must include one (1) Yamaha spx 90 digital effects processor and one (1) digital delay unit.
• Sound to be adjusted to suit venue size and setting.
• Front of house - concert quality speakers (meyers, ev x-array, ea w, jbl concert, turbo sound) and amplifiers (crest, carver, crown, qsc).
• System must be crossed three-way, with adequate subs and coverage to produce 120 db spl (20hz- 20khz) clean, undistorted sound for foh mix position.
• 48” x 8” x 2” mixing console, minimum three (3) band sweep able eq. Four (4) auxiliary pre/post switchable sends, insert, and phantom power (48 volts) per input.
• Sound system must be in stereo
o One (1) digital reverb – Yamaha rev 7 or rev 5
o Two (2) Yamaha spx 900, 990, 1000
o Four (4) channels noise gates – klark-technick, dbx
o Eight (8) channels compression – klark-technick, dbx
o One (1) cd player

o Provided four (4) first-class wireless microphones for vocalists and back-up, with microphone stands. Wireless Sennheiser mics are preferred.
o Stands must be solid, round or square.
o No tripod-type stands, as they pose a safety risk.
