Strategic Planning Consultant Services

The Vendor is required to provide strategic planning consultant services to assist them in defining the outcomes they want to achieve in designing and facilitating discussions and decision-making methods to help them reach their goals.
- The strategic planning process requires meaningful engagement with the community, library board, staff, leadership team and external stakeholders.
- The consultant will facilitate constructive discussions on strategic priorities and trade-offs, including how to scale and grow targeted service offerings while maintaining a strong commitment to equity and freedom of access, and how data can be better leveraged to inform decision-making. 
- These discussions will also focus on identifying and using strategic partnerships to maximize community impact, and on aligning resources to ensure sustainable, responsive service delivery in a growing community.
- The consultant will be required to synthesize and distill all research and engagement findings into clear themes, strategic implications, and prioritized recommendations for the board's consideration. 
- The consultant will document and present these findings in reports and facilitate discussions with the board, management, and staff to support informed decision-making. 
- The board will be the final decision maker about the future direction of the library.
