Fare Media and Fulfillment Services

The Vendor is required to provide for printing, packaging, and distribution materials for fare media consumables for ten years commencing.
- Design, manufacture, and deliver fare media cards suitable for high-volume public transit use, including:
•    Contactless extended use media (EUM) smart cards
•    Retail-wrapped contactless extended use (EUM) smart cards
•    Limited-use media (LUM) smart cards
•    Paper ticket stock
•    Receipt stock
- Three media packages:
•    Media Package 1 - Extended Use Media (EUM) Smart Cards
•    Media Package 2 - Limited Use Media (LUM) Smart Cards
•    Media Package 3 - Paper Ticket and Receipt Stock
- The EUM will be designed to have a read performance of not less than 200,000 read cycles.
- The EUM will include an etched, unique sequential serial number and nonsequential security code (PIN) for the purposes of traceability that is separate from the encoded and encrypted token, and smartcard Unique Identification Number (UID).
- Provide frequent and proactive communication with agency and relevant fare collection system vendor(s) regarding testing, customer issues, order receipt and processing, and delivery status.
