The Vendor is required to provide for integrated tourism marketing and media services.
- Provide strategic media planning, digital media buying, creative development, analysis, and reporting in line with the organization’s marketing goals, along with related campaign support services that advance regional tourism initiatives.
- The mission of the district is to stimulate economic growth by promoting and marketing the region and its forty-one (41) member municipalities as a premier leisure, business and travel destination.
- Objective
• Work in concert and provide regional support to the Office
• Build awareness of the 41 town/city region as a destination
• Increase visitation to region’s arts, culture and tourism assets (attractions, events)
• Coordinate and build synergies with other arts, culture and tourism marketing organizations in the region
• Monitor, track and analyze campaigns allowing for “pivot points” to keep activities on track
• Measure and benchmark the marketing, PR and communications activities
• Analyze and optimize ROI
- Provide a digital media buying partner to serve as our online media planning resource – inclusive of strategic digital media direction; market analysis; media negotiation and purchasing; budget management; creative content creation; ongoing & post-buy analysis and reporting.
- Provide the following services:
• Evaluate organizational marketing, public relations, and social media efforts to inform campaign strategy
• Develop and implement integrated marketing and digital advertising programs, including paid social media
• Identify and recommend the optimal mix of media to maximize the impact of a specified budget
• Plan and place advertising across appropriate channels in coordination with internal and external partners
• Track, analyze, and report on the success and impact of campaigns on a regular basis, including performance results, insights, and optimization recommendations to support district reporting needs. Provide reporting and analysis to support district obligations to district and the office
• Develop creative and supporting content for advertising and related initiatives, including promotional materials and collateral as needed, subject to approval by agency
• Support campaign initiatives beyond paid media, including content development and itineraries on website, and other promotional efforts, as appropriate
• Develop influencer partnerships and other collaborative marketing opportunities
• Provide limited public relations support, including press releases or media coordination, as needed
• Support alignment with website and state tourism campaigns, and coordinate with agency for required review and approval
• Ensure work aligns with applicable state funding requirements and purchasing guidelines
• Attendance at monthly marketing and executive committee meetings, quarterly board meetings
