The Vendor is required to provide to assist district with district-wide web hosting and digital media services (“project”) for the office.
- Provide comprehensive lower-division general education, occupational education, transfer education, counseling and guidance, community services, and continuing education programs that are appropriate to the communities served and that meet the changing needs of students for academic and occupational preparation, citizenship, and cultural understanding.
- Program includes four key elements:
• Community Business Enterprise Program geared to encouraging the use of local, small, emerging and
• disabled-veteran owned businesses neighboring the colleges;
• Local Hire Program geared to involving local residents living in the areas neighboring the colleges in trade and non-trade opportunities;
• College Internship Program geared to involving District students at each college; and
• Special Opportunities Program geared to involving the socio-economically disadvantaged and others in training and job opportunities.
- Web hosting and digital media services for various construction projects for, and on behalf of the District.
- All content, coding and graphics will become the sole property of the District at the conclusion of the project.
- Another goal of the initiative is to solicit digital media professional services to support architectural photography, videography, and illustration.
- Maintain and enhance the website with the primary goal of this initiative to continue providing webhosting for the website.
- Services include:
• Take architectural photography, drone photography and video footage, and other video footage at site locations based on direction from the office.
• Create graphic illustrations based on direction from the office.
• Produce short video productions (1 minute – 3 minutes) for projects, which include recorded audio/video, campus video scenes, and project video scenes.
• Update webpage template backend programming at the direction of the office.
• Develop simple process for internal staff to make updates to the events page.
• Curate and post updated architectural photography as needed based on direction from office.
• Enhance picture galleries with “lazy load” configuration.
• Enhance picture galleries with metadata and tags for each of curation.
• Develop time-lapse videos of construction site, edit, and post content based on direction from office.
• Ensure ADA section 508 compliance in all aspects of website.
• Update document repository hierarchy for standards section of website.
• Institute cybersecurity features and provide updates to all servers to ensure the latest security features are enabled.
