The vendor is required to provide emergency medical supplies are essential for our emergency response teams, including fire and rescue services, and must adhere to the highest standards of safety and efficacy.
1. Products:
• The emergency medical supplies that are included in this solicitation are as outlined on the price proposal form.
• Any additional items may be added by the city as a formal amendment to the contract.
• The city reserves the right to order from a secondary supplier when supplies from awarded supplier(s) are on backorder.
• Backorder status notification must be reported to the city within twenty-four (24) hours of original order.
• All products supplied to the city must be in the original packaging and have an expiration date of at least twelve (12) months later than the delivery date unless the unique stability characteristics of the product require a shorter dating period.
• All products supplied must still be usable on the date received by the city.
2. Quantities:
• The quantities for the items listed in this solicitation are estimated annual quantities for bid evaluation purposes only and should not be construed as representing actual quantities to be purchased.
• It is understood by all bidders that the city is not obligated to purchase any minimum or maximum amount during the life of a contract resulting from this solicitation.
3. Emergency orders:
• Supplier will be required to provide the city the name, telephone number, and email address of the supplier's representative and backup representative responsible for providing emergency service.
