Network Support Services

The Vendor is required to provide advanced Network support services to augment existing staff for project work and day-to-day tasks as needed.
- Network support professional services from an advanced Network Engineer to augment an existing LAN/WAN team.
- Resource availability:
• Must align with agency standard business hours – between 8AM-5PM Monday –
Friday Eastern Time
• Must be available for on-call rotation for after-hours support
• Must have a backup resource available in case this primary resource is unavailable
• Need to attend on-site meetings/demonstrations one week per year
- The list of skill sets need are:
• Expert knowledge of city hardware (switches, routers) and IOS
• Expert knowledge of county next generation firewall
• Expert knowledge of city ISE
• Expert knowledge in networking technologies such as wireless, MPLS, Private IP, TLS SIP
• Ability to create and maintain highly detailed infrastructure documentation including systems diagrams and architectural assessments for support, audit, compliance and disaster recovery purposes
• Ability to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and thought leader for other members of the IT team
• Knowledge of Data Center technologies including storage—FC, FCIP, virtualization (VMWare), Nexus, and city unified computing system (UCS)
• Ability to support and/or lead proof-of-concept efforts.
