The Vendor is required to provide to establish a vendor of record (VOR) partnership that will enable the efficient acquisition of equipment, licenses, and related services essential to agency goal of delivering a reliable, secure, and scalable healthcare IT infrastructure.
- Ensure agency access to leading-edge technologies that support effective data management, communication, and system performance.
- Services include:
• A single, provincially managed, locally delivered, standardized approach to providing it services, such as infrastructure, ongoing software maintenance, licensing and purchasing, to the state health care system.
• A variety of programs and services giving health care providers electronic access to important patient information, such as laboratory results, medical imaging reports and prescriptions, from anywhere in the province.
• State health registration process and the issuance of birth, stillbirth, marriage, death and genealogy certificates.
