The Vendor is required to provide for wireless mobile communication devices and cellular network services.
- Provide the following products and services to the City:
• Wireless devices and accessories (hardware)
• Wireless device plans
• Dedicated support
- Provide approximately 800 mobile devices and associated plans.
- Core service items provided will include, but are not limited to:
• A dedicated account representative,
• A dedicated storefront with a dedicated corporate sales representative for:
o Ordering devices
o Ordering or changing device service plans
o Ordering accessories
o Apple business manager registrations and de-registrations
o Subscriber usage reports and analytics as needed
o Billing reports and analytics as needed
• Electronic invoicing via email,
• A portal with the capabilities to view usage, invoices and perform advanced device usage and real-time reporting online,
• Delivery of new devices directly to city employees within 1 business day,
• Off-site technical and product support,
• Loaner or temporary mobile devices in the event of loss, damage, or warranty claim,
• Suspend and reactivate numbers on demand, and
• A detailed plan for mobile device replacement including a subscriber migration strategy for all device types
- Hardware:
• Hardware is to be new (not factory reconditioned), factory unlocked, and delivered in original packaging
• Minimum of one-year, unlimited parts, labor and on-site replacement warranty on all hardware
• Processing and management of all manufacturer warranties on behalf of the City
- Rate Plans:
• All Data plans:
o Pooled data minutes
o Automatic international rate plan application
• All Voice plans:
o Unlimited country wide in-network mobile to mobile calling
o Unlimited local evenings and weekend minutes
o Call waiting
o Caller id
o Voice mail
o Unlimited country wide text/picture messaging
o Automatic international rate plan application
- Provide in place support services and processes for wireless devices and cellular network services in detail.
• Location of dedicated storefront used to service city hall
• Name and resume of account representative assigned to the city account
• Name and resumes of corporate sales representative and staff (or partners) assigned to the city account
• Device warranty and replacement programs
• Response time and procedures in place for support, service interruption or outages including emergency requests
• Escalation procedures and response times for the following:
o Phone and accessories ordering
o Technical support
o Account changes
o Emergencies
• Any training available for both administrative and end-users
• Cutover plan and strategy for subscriber and device migration including:
o Proponents approach to project delivery
o Requirements of the customer
o Approach to handling apple business manager registration and de-registration
o Estimated timeline for migrating 300 iPhone
• Confirmation of next business day device acquisition for city-defined standard iPhone and how many devices would be available for same day acquisition.
• Personal employee perks/discount program or similar offering.
