Network Support Services

The Vendor is required to provide comprehensive network support services on a subscription-based, “managed service”.
- Provide support to the City with network services required by the Department.
- The successful vendor will act as a strategic partner to the City's Management Information Services (MIS) Department, augmenting the existing internal IT staff by providing ongoing management, maintenance, security, and support for the City's core IT infrastructure.
- Provide to enter into a strategic relationship with a qualified IT partner to help the City manage its current and future IT infrastructure, augmenting and supporting the City’s internal IT staff, including on-prem hardware and software as well as cloud-based solutions.
- This requires a partner with strong analytical skills along with expertise in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- The work will primarily be conducted remotely, though some on-site presence may be required.
- All after-hours work, particularly updates and upgrades, must strictly observe backup windows and follow best practices to ensure a successful and verified backup is completed prior to implementation.
- Cloud-Hosted Backups: Provide a solution for fully managed, immutable, and air-gapped backups in the cloud.
- Disaster Recovery Testing: Conduct a quarterly test and an annual full DR test, including detailed planning and design. City staff will be included in the annual DR testing process.
- Provide examples of similar projects where your firm has migrated a client from one backup/DR solution to another.
- Risk & Remediation: Perform network and WAN cyberattack risk assessments, manage network and firewall data breach reporting, and provide remediation planning and management.
- Staff Training: Provide ongoing training and support for City IT staff on security best practices.
