Remote Pharmacy Medication Order Verification Services

The vendor is required to provide remote pharmacy services in support of the pharmacy at the institute.
- Pharmacy business hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm central time Monday – Friday, excluding state holidays.
- Provide a pharmacist, licensed in state, to:
1. Verify medication orders after normal business hours as described above, including nights, weekends and holidays;
2. With reasonable notice, be available to provide remote pharmacy coverage of medication order verification during normal business hours in the event of staff illness or scheduled time off;
3. Consult with medical and clinical staff on medication specific questions.
- Provide attestation of a passed information security risk assessment, passed network penetration scans, and passed web application scans (when applicable) prior to implementation of the system and again annually thereafter.
