Plumbing Services

The Vendor is required to provide plumbing services for city public schools.
- The services will include:
• Emergency pipe repair - Repairing and or replacing water, gas, and drainage pipes due to unforeseen failures.
• Plumbing system maintenance - Inspections and maintenance to ensure systems are running efficiently.
• Drain cleaning - Clearing blockages and maintaining drainage systems.
• Water heater installation and repair - installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial water heaters, including tank less and on-demand models.
• Backflow prevention - Installing and maintaining backflow prevention systems to ensure water safety.
• Fixture installation - Installing commercial plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, faucets, and urinals.
• Sewer line services - Repairing or replacing sewer lines and performing inspections using cameras.
• Grease trap installation and maintenance - Installing and cleaning grease traps for commercial kitchens.
• Leak detection and repair - Detecting and repairing hidden leaks in walls, floors, or underground.
• Gas line services - Installing and repairing gas lines for appliances, heaters, and systems.
• Water filtration systems - Installing water filtration and water treatment systems for clean and safe drinking water and usage by various mechanical systems.
• Hydro jetting - High-pressure water jetting to clean pipes and clear tough blockages.
• Emergency plumbing services - Providing 24/7 emergency plumbing repairs for urgent issues like flooding or burst pipes.
• Plumbing system design and consultation - Designing plumbing systems for new construction or renovations.
• Storm drain services - Installing and maintaining storm water drainage systems to prevent flooding.
• Smoke testing - Conducting smoke testing to detect leaks in sewer systems and identify faults in the plumbing infrastructure.
• Trenchless pipe repair - Repairing or replacing pipes without the need for extensive digging, often using methods like pipe lining or pipe bursting.
• Water pressure adjustment - Adjusting water pressure and installing pressure regulators to ensure optimal system performance.
• Plumbing code compliance and inspections - Ensuring plumbing systems meet local building codes and regulations through inspections.
• Roof drain installation and maintenance - Installing and maintaining roof drainage systems to prevent water damage.
- Supply all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, vehicles and transportation necessary for plumbing services for city public schools properties and facilities, on an "as needed" basis.
- Contract Period/Term: 1 year
