Medical Records Support Services

The Vendor is required to provide securely receive or access batches of raw, unorganized medical records from the division in a digital format.
- Collection: Medical records are collected from claimants and respondents involved in a workers’ compensation case.
- This involves cleaning up the packet, ensuring accuracy, and verifying it is complete and ready for distribution.
- Indexing: Create a comprehensive index that clearly identifies health care providers and classes of records. The index must also ensure all diagnostic tests (e.g., labs, MRIs, CTs, X-Rays) are clearly identified and properly labeled.
- Initial Processing: The collected raw records are processed through an AI-powered software, Discovery Navigator. 
- This software performs several key functions:
•    Organizes records chronologically.
•    Applies Bates stamps for unique page identification.
•    Creates an index of the records.
•    Generates a chronological summary ("chron").
- This process involves collecting records, using an AI platform (Discovery Navigator) to organize them (e.g., chronological ordering, Bates stamping, indexing), and having internal staff conduct a final review and cleanup before packets are sent to physicians and parties.
