Insurance Broker Services

The vendor is required to provide insurance broker services for liability and property claims and includes the participants listed above except for the board.
- Consultant shall place coverage and provide support services for:
•    Commercial property, including business interruption and extra expense
•    Equipment breakdown and inland marine floaters
•    Commercial crime and public officials' bonds
•    Corporate counsel professional liability
•    Cyber security and privacy liability
•    International travel for senior officials
•    Premises pollution legal liability, including fuel storage tanks
•    Commercial general liability for neighborhood services grant programs
•    Builders' risk and special events coverage as needed
•    Accidental death and medical payments policies for corrections
•    Unmanned aviation systems
- Consultant shall maintain dedicated senior account executive and technical support staff to the county's account.
- Consultant shall coordinate loss control inspections and information requests from insurance carriers.
- Provide input regarding coverage issues outside of the regular program including the captive insurance program.
- Provide research assistance and consultation on risk management issues of particular concern to the county.
- Provide a summary of reporting requirements to the county and coordinate the reporting of claims with risk management and the third-party administrator.
