Electronics Recycling Services

The Vendor is required to provide electronics recycling services from a registered e-cycle state recycler.
- Provide an enclosed semi-trailer to be left onsite at service locations A and B for the purpose of collection, temporary storage and recycling of computers and electronics.
• Indicate the length of the semi-trailer to be provided on the proposal & signature pages.
• Provide all necessary supplies (pallets, county boxes, shrink wrap, etc.) for the purpose of collection, temporary storage and recycling of computers, electronics, and battery containing devices.
• Provide all necessary supplies (pallets, county boxes, shrink wrap, etc.) and instructions for the purpose of collection of damaged electronics/devices.
• Provide a secure data collection disposal container.
• Provide for hauling of trailers/electronics within 48 hours of notice given by the county requiring service.  
• Provide for processing of computers, electronics, and battery containing devices to remove and properly manage hazardous and environmentally harmful components, to reclaim or recycle recoverable material, and to properly dispose of regulated material.
• Provider shall grant the county (IES) the right to inspect any facility associated with the recycling/disposal of the material under this proposal.
• Material will be placed in containers by county personnel, non-county personnel, haulers or citizens.
• Liability to provider begins when materials are loaded into truck/semi-trailer.  
• Forklifts will be used at both locations to double stack pallets to the extent feasible.
• Provider must be committed and able to follow approved procedures for recovery, reclamation, re-use, recycling and disposal of materials.
• Monthly invoicing must document processing center used, load arrival date, and weight and/or # of units by type.
• Provider must have all relevant government permits and license(s) pertaining to the processing of computers and electronics.
• Provider to indicate whether pricing would be honored for individual municipalities or groups (i.e. school groups, scouts, etc.) within the respective counties collecting electronics: at semi-load quantities, other than semi-load quantities, and ‘event’ style collections.
