Student Account Design Service

The vendor is required to provide that project lead – student account design service to develop a unified student information management (SIM) system.
-Project Lead will advise the project director and implementation leads on data and project management, ensuring alignment with SIM project goals.
-Unified Student Information Management system takes a strategic approach to optimize the student journey by focusing on platform rationalization and portfolio consolidation
-Involve overseeing all aspects of the sim project, from initial planning and design to final implementation and launch.
-This role will facilitate collaboration between departments, agency campuses, and external vendors to ensure all project data requirements are identified, procured, and available to meet the project schedule.
-Key responsibilities:
•Manage the SIM project lifecycle, including scoping, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
•Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, designers, and educational specialists, to ensure alignment with project goals.
•Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules.
•Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues to ensure project success.
•Ensure deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
•Communicate project status, progress, and any issues to stakeholders and senior management.
•Conduct regular team meetings, provide guidance and support, and foster a collaborative working environment.
•Collaborate with business analysts to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
•Work closely with campus representatives to ensure the system meets the needs of educational institutions.
•Ensure the final product meets quality standards and user requirements
-continuity of services:
•During the term of any contract resulting from this solicitation, the scope of services for the project lead – student account design shall be provided to agency upon by agency to the successful bidder.
•It is anticipated that the individual(s) named in any contract resulting from this solicitation shall provide such project lead – student account design services for the entire duration of the assignment specified in such contract.
•The successful proposer shall ensure the continuity of the personnel assigned to render project lead – student account design services to agency pursuant to such contract.
•It is recognized that circumstances may arise that necessitate the replacement of the successful proposer’s personnel during the term of any such contract for reasons beyond the control of such proposer.
•The successful proposer, the successful proposer shall be required to provide written notice to within one business day from the date the proposer becomes aware that a replacement will be needed.
•The successful proposer shall be required to first consult with and seek the prior written approval of agency.
•After said consultation, it is mutually agreed that such removal and/or replacement shall take place, the successful proposer shall provide the resumes of no less than two (2) or more potential replacements with similar or superior qualifications for agency review within five (5) business days, or as otherwise agreed to by the parties in writing.
-This involves streamlining and simplifying the various platforms used across agency campuses to ensure they are efficient, user-friendly, and aligned with the needs of students, faculty, and administrators.
-By consolidating disparate systems into a cohesive IT environment, agency aims to eliminate silos, enhance authorized data sharing, and improve the overall user experience.
-Contract Period/Term: 2 years
